Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy S24 FE in October, a device that closely resembles its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 FE. Recently, the South Korean variant of this upcoming phone appeared on Geekbench, as spotted by MySmartPrice.
The listing reveals that the Galaxy S24 FE is powered by an in-house s5e9945 motherboard and a 10-core CPU, with one of the cores clocked at 3.11GHz. The device is equipped with 8GB of RAM and scored 1625 in single-core and 5698 in multi-core tests.
Interestingly, the phone uses the Xclipse 940 GPU, confirming that Samsung is equipping the Galaxy S24 FE with a slightly underclocked version of the Exynos 2400 chip, the same processor found in the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. This underclocking likely aims to manage heat more efficiently, as the FE model may not have the same advanced cooling system as the flagship models.
It is expected to have triple camera on rear side with 50MP main camera along 12MP ultrawide camera and 8MP telephoto camera with 3x zoom. It will have 6.7 inches display along FHD+ resolution having 120Hz refresh rate to boost user experience.
Similar to the previous model Galaxy S24 FE is expected to launch with OneUI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 and is rumored to feature a 4,565mAh battery. This suggests that while the phone may offer slightly lower peak performance, it will maintain strong overall capabilities with the latest software and AI features.
