Motorola has officially announced its latest additions to the Moto G-series lineup, the Moto G55 and Moto G35. These two smartphones share many similarities in terms of design and specifications, but the Moto G55 brings a few enhancements, including Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for its main camera, a more powerful Dimensity 7025 chipset, and faster 33W charging.
Design and Display
Both the Moto G55 and G35 feature a sleek and modern design with a punch-hole cutout housing a 16 MP front-facing camera. The Moto G55 is built around a 6.5-inch IPS LCD with Full FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and a responsive user experience. On the other hand, the Moto G35 comes with a slightly larger 6.72-inch display but maintains the same Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, providing an equally immersive display experience.
Camera Capabilities

However, the Moto G55 stands out with the inclusion of Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), which helps reduce blur and improves the quality of photos, especially in low light conditions. The secondary camera on both models is an 8 MP ultrawide lens, suitable for capturing expansive landscapes and group shots.
Performance and Storage
The Moto G55 is powered by the Dimensity 7025 chipset and offers multiple configurations with 8GB, or 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. In contrast, the Moto G35 is equipped with the Unisoc T760 chipset and comes with 4GB of RAM, paired with either 128GB or 256GB of storage. Both devices support microSD card expansion up to 1TB, providing ample storage for apps, photos, and videos.
Battery and Charging
Battery life is a strong point for both devices, with each featuring a 5,000 mAh battery. The Moto G55 supports faster 30W charging, while the Moto G35 offers 18W charging, ensuring that users can quickly recharge their devices and stay connected throughout the day.
Software and Additional Features
On the software front, both the Moto G55 and G35 run on Android 14 with Motorola’s Hello UI on top, providing a clean and user-friendly interface. Additional features include side-mounted fingerprint scanners for quick and secure access, 3.5mm headphone jacks, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced audio experience.
